junior day in PA
Hey everyone,
My son and I were going to go out hunting on the junior day in hopes of him bagging his first turkey. The problem is though, I am unsure of where to go because I have never hunted when the weather was like how it is. It is going to have Periods of rain, turning windy and cooler in the afternoon. If you could please post a reply on where the best places to try would be.
Thanks,
Jerry

RogueArcher - Welcome to the board (nice to see another PA hunter here)!!! You should get a lot of responses as there are a bunch of excellent turkey hunters here! I haven't hunted them much in bad weather however if I was hunting an unpressured area I'd setup along field edges. If you're hunting state game lands and have hunters walking through the fields all day you will obviously need a different approach. Good luck tomorrow and stay safe!

Game plan #1...fields or other open areas
Game plan #2...deep hollows full of acorns or with water
Game plan #3...find the ladies and you'll find the prince
