Great job GN. Sounds like a great hunt, you the bird and patience. Gotta love those photos you take. Was that a self job or did someone else take it.

Jay Mc- no middle Tenn plans as yet. Too bad too because it is some splendic hunting over there. FArmsI hunted got sold to country movie stars...serioulsy.

Vic..that photo there is with a digital and a self timer. In that picture, I had to take the picture in a place away for the kill spot as my batteries were dead on the digital at the critical post kill photo-op. Plus it poured rain 15 minutes after the shot. I always seem to subsequently regret that I never tke enough pictures to portray all the things that have made each hunt unique and memorable.

GN,

Is it possible to take enough photos? I get a couple with my kids and that is it. What I try to do the most is be there now. When I hunt I try to just be wholely present and absorb in every moment. Video is great stuff, but it tends to take away from the great stories that get better with time. Not that I would ever embelish a turkey hunting story. Congrats again on a great bird.

I get to start hunting Monday here in MD. Hope to at least be in the game, life at its best.
