Hey Guys I killed a pretty nice bird yesterday morning that had ticks on it when I picked it . What do you think about saving it ? I have been skinning them and haven't noticed that before. Wanted to deep fry this one.I picked all of then off , it had about six on it . Will it be OK ????

It will be fine. Just don't eat him raw :wink: Seriously, cooked to the right temp, 180*, and it will be fine. Heck turkeys eat the things :shock:

Nearly every turkey I kill in the south has ticks on it...usually under the wings near the joints. He will be fine and what you are seeing is normal.
