Check with maytom -- he makes a good looking display case for spurs.

I drill a small hole through the base of the beard and run fishing line through it along with running the line through the bone of the spurs so they hang on either side of the beard.

Hey Maytom,
If I were to order one of these from you can I put the spurs in myself or would I have to send you my spurs and have you do it?
Please let me know. We can take this conversation offline if you'd prefer?
Thanks you,
-Eric

Mine is the third from the top, you put them on . The board comes with complete instructions. A lot of thought and pride went into his design, they are of true craftsmanship. I just wish I had saved my spurs over the years, oh well it will be fun trying to fill it up
Keep em Gobblin! Struttinbird

Thanks for all the compliments!! I will have a web-site out someday showing all of my work. I'm currently working on getting another house, and should have one by next summer the latest. The woodshop will be back in operation shortly afterwards. (Divorce's do that to you) So if all you guys can hang in there a little longer, I'll be more than happy to make this forum a special deal when back up and running. I do have a few spur displays left of both styles. Other than that, I don't have any place to work on them. Trust me, I can't wait to get back into this hobby of mine!!! Thanks again for showing interst in my work, it's a labor of love...........................Paul/maytom
