Good Job Max, Nice spurs. I bet that was a job trying to quietly shuck a shell, while the birds were that close. As far as the monkey goes, if you see it again (SHOOT IT)
 I have 2 Monkey DCAP tags that the VDGIF sent me. I will be glad to send one to you. I must keep the other for myself. All jokes aside, sounded like a fun hunt.

Diablo - shell misfired because the monkey threw a bannana peel between it and the firing pin.
Monkey DCAP tags....I think some of us are starting to lose it... |

On the misfire. ...ejected shell showed the smallest of firing pin contact. not like it shoud have. I had a misfire last year and figured it to be debris in the way of the firing pin...I have tried since to make the gun misfire and it would not until yesterday. I will have my smith replace the firing pin and spring this summer..... I do not feel the trouble is in any way with the shells. I think it is a gun issue. The 835 sure shoots a REAL pattern but it aint a 870

May not be a heavy weight but he sure was sporting some nice trophies. That monkey has a twin and he is on my back. Plan on sending him packing starting Friday!
