Re: Spring 2010 Diary... Thanks for the input guys! GN is a good sport to put up with it...  We've been known to get into a turkey or two and I've about blew it a time or two with my nose in the "crackberry" but he keeps me on my toes!

Re: Spring 2010 Diary... The season has begun. The landowner and I are setup on a spot that we are familiar with and have killed turkeys in the past... We shall see! Stay tuned!

Re: Spring 2010 Diary... No action yesterday afternoon. Very strange. We were setup in one of the best places. One of the group saw a jake and that was it
This morning I'm setup with my buddy Dan overlooking a field. Hopefully we'll have some action.

Re: Spring 2010 Diary... We've heard 2 birds gobble but 1 birds has gobbled once and the other bird 4 times. Closest bird just answered a series of yelps. Waiting patiently.

Re: Spring 2010 Diary... Heading in for midday "trolling". It got really quiet this morning and not much action other than 2 hens coming in to the setup. Birds are really tight lipped.

Re: Spring 2010 Diary... Headed out for the morning hunt. Have a young man with me that has never killed a turkey so we're hoping for some action!
Its been slow with very few turkeys seen or heard. The only shot fired was the missed jake from yesterday.
