Got one Today
After yesterday encounter with a bird and missing an opportunity todays hunt ended better. I walked right by this turkey before daybreak and had to back track when he sounded off on the roost. After a couple soft yelps i heard him coming up the ridge. This was one of my quickest hunts ever from the time i sat down io had him on the ground within a few minutes. He weighed 22lbs 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Good luck to everyone!

You must have turkey love potion on you where can I get some? If I'm not mistaken, that is at least the third bird you called up already and the season is not even a week old. You definitely have the touch, or the sound or something going well. Congrats on the first kill for you of the season, doubt it is the last
