First Longbeard

PApoult 2 Year Old Joined: Mon Mar 14, 2005 3:38 pm Posts: 87	First Longbeard On Monday morning at 9:00 a.m., I shot my first longbeard. In fact, it was my first turkey that I ever shot. Was in Bath County. 19.5 lbs., 1" spurs and 9" beard. On Tuesday and Wednesday had turkeys gobbling but could not close the deal. I was with a guide, so I can't take credit. He did a great job. Came back to Pa. a very happy "turkey" hunter. I have the "fever"...
