Next weekend I'm going to nelson county to hunt with a guy, he wants me to call for him. i have never hunted nelson county, thanks for any tips about calling to them, hunting them, etc... maybe a prediction about what kind of gobbling they be doing over there by next weekend. thanks for any info

The only advise i can give ya is to say leave 'em Nelson birds be. You will do much better in Amherst or Albemarle co. Them Nelson birds don't hunt to good. Must be sumtin in da water

All albemarle has is the scrawny ones kicked out by all those big boss toms in nelson! JP nelson has lots of forested land, fewer people and is beautiful! But heck I don't know.
