Post subject:  Looking for Spring Gobbler advise

My wife and I are turkey hunting fanatics. We do a lot of traveling to turkey hunt in the spring. (Just got back from a Texas hunt). We are planning to hunt Virginia on April 21-23. We are staying in Warm Springs in Bath County. Any advise for hunting this area? We stick to public land, but will have to consider hiring a guide for Saturday if we strike out on Thursday and Friday. Any advise we could get would be greatly appreciated. We love Virginia- the scenery and people are some of the greatest we have seen while hunting across the USA. Thanks :D :)

Not sure you will even find a guide in that area..

Warm Springs moutain is close by and it's public.. never turkey hunted it but heard good things..

Rhino can probably tell you better than I .. as I believe he lives close to there

I hunt public on Patty's knob on the border of WV and VA about 30 miles from Warm Springs.. it's in Bath County there are some birds in spots but it's steep and rough terrian on the VA side..

Hope this helps you out..
