Tuff Bobby Gobble has been rescued! After reading Mark's post I realized that we did indeed leave him in the woods! Abby and I just went down the ridge to get him and he was safe and sound right where we stashed him under the stump!!

Thanks for rescuing Bobby. And thanks to Abby for her great song about the rescue!

Diablo, you can see pictures of the infamous Tuff Bobby Gobble here:

http://blogs.roanoke.com/wildlife/turke ... rts_n.html

He actually looks a little (emphasis on "little") better now thanks to the addition of a beard and a little tucking and trimming on his breast feathers.

very nice tactics...I have a lot of confidence in the walking away gobbler...did Freddy tell you that tactic sort was a middle of the game step in putting down the largest longbeard he ever killed?

That's awsome, just imagine how tough that would have been 2 weeks ago with no leaves. Hate the pollen but love the cover, you got to love those bushy little trees. Great Job
