Thermacell
I keep forgetting to post about this product. While hiunting in Fla a few weeks back, the second morning the skeeters were awful. We sprayed down but they still swarmed. We had purchased a few of the termacells for this reason so Longbeard Magnet broke his out and set it between us. Within 5 minutes the mosquitos were GONE. If you have an extra $20 buy one of these. They work great!!!!!

I agree. I got one before the season last year and loved it.

Thermacell
This Thermacell, does it work for black flies and gnats?? I know last year when I hunted in NY, the black flies were something to be reckoned with....we ended up buying some full face headnets....I don't particularly care for those...will this thermacell take care of that?? Now, do you turn it on and keep on in a pocket, or set it beside you, out away from you?? Gimme a little more info.....this is pretty interesting.

I agree, the Therma-Cell unit works slick indeed. This will be my second season using one, but the only thing it doesn't work on is Ticks. From what I've been hearing, right from Therma-cell, is that they will be working on a tick repellant as well very soon.

I used one in bow season in the swamps of eastern NC. Not 100% effective but the best darn mosquito repellant I've used. I even started hunting without the bug tamer with it!!
