I'm wondering how the wind affects turkey habits. Specifically, if hunting in the hills or mountains, can you rule out certain roost locations based on the wind. I was seeing many turkeys here every time out during deer season, but since the turkey season came back in this week (KY) I haven't been able to find any turkey's. It has been very windy, will the birds roost only on hillsides opposite of strong wind?

You are correct. Deep hollows on the downwind side... that's been my experience. Good luck and stay after them. You'll run into them sooner or later!
