I don't do much fall hunting maybe 2-5 days at the most. I like to save my tags for spring.

I hunt them in the fall in VA, but since I'm in VA only a very limited time, I only go after them when I've encountered them while deer hunting. I'll try to break up the flock and then go switch out my gear, or if I know where they roosted I'll head there first thing in the morning.

Hunt both spring and fall. More in the spring, but still manage to put in 2-5 hunts in the fall.

Freddy,
I did not see a time qualifier, but it may be implied so if my answer messes up your statistical analysis...throw it out. When I did live in VA I always hunted 3-4 weekend days in the fall for turkey. However, that was only a 2 week four legged furry animal with sticks in its head season. It provided a great excuse for my Dad and I to take a walk in the woods and carry a gun. Looking back, I would not say we were serious about it. Mainly walking in the woods and sometimes we would tripped over a turkey or two. Thanksgiving always.

On the Eastern Shore there is no fall season.
Once I moved to Radford 3 years ago I hunted each fall for about 12 days each year.

I hunt for fall birds. The problem I have is that if they aren't on the farm where I hunt, it becomes a short hunt. I really try to get after them when I go home to the coast. Nothing like thinning out the competition before Spring gets here :D

I try to fill one tag in the fall, and save the other two for spring. I have two tags left this year for spring.

Spring & Fall. I have always enjoyed a good fall hunt, especially if you can find a family flock to bust.

Unfortunately I only get out a couple of times a year specifically for fall turkeys. Usually spend too much time in a tree stand in the fall.

Do turkey hunt in VA each fall, have since late 1970's. Began hunting there as NC had no fall season, and it provided a chance to spend more time doing what I love. Now fall and spring turkey hunt VA each year.
