Well I finally managed to coax a longbeard back into gun range to finish out WV season and my spring turkey season. I took this gobbler at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning at 12 yds... I'm glad I don't have any more tags left but sorda sad that season is over.Very Bittersweet..

Birds are still gobbling very good here in my part of WV but have not been easy to call all spring! Usually there seems to be a few days when you have to hide behind a tree to make a call or you'll get ran over, but this spring has been pretty tough.

I have only hunted 3 days in WV this year.. but going again this Friday and Saturday to finish it out.. I still have both my tags, but have put 9 gobblers into gun range 3 of which rode in the truck calling for others..

I hope we can get on a couple more this weekend to finish it up right..
