A friend of mine stopped by the cabin a little while ago to show me the turkey he took this morning. It was a pig!!! This late in the season and it still weighed 21 lb. 9 oz. Good beard and spurs too. It's breast bone area was completely void of feathers from breeding. What would this bird have weighed 5 weeks ago? 23 maybe 24 lb? barry |
