Hello Guys and Gals!! I was just wondering how long should ya wait before ya go back and hunt some birds, If ya took a shot at them?? I called in 5 Longbeards today and the pressure got me and I choked!! The Birds were about 40 yards and coming strong, the only thing I had to do is hold tight and one of those guys could have been mine!! I took the shot and the birds flew up and away in all different directions!! I was very upset with myself!! But a bad day in the turkey woods is better than a good day at work!! |

I would go back on Monday. Don't hunt the exact same spot and use a different call, that they have not heard. Good luck... |

It shouldn't take long sometimes you can call the birds back the same day. But I would let this place rest for a couple days just fo r good measure. I think we sometimes give turkeys a little too much credit on how smart they are about some things... |

If they flew up in all different directions I'd of found a good spot to set up and given them an hour to settle down and get right back at them. |
