hi, i'm new to this site.....have lived in VA all my life, and been turkey hunting for a few years now. Have been fortunate enough over the past few years to find really good places to hunt. Again, I was lucky to find another great place to hunt, but I have already bagged my one turkey limit on that property. It was a longbeard, about 10 inch beard. But now, I'm out of places to hunt without making really long drives just to hunt somewhere that gets hunted a lot. by now i'm sure the turkeys are call shy from all the hunters after them every day. Does anyone live near Danville that may have some areas to hunt that maybe I could hunt too? I only kill longbeards......I will not kill a little bitty bird, and I definately don't do anything against the law. Being a teacher, that would risk more than just losing my hunting liscense.
