Maybe Monday
Well, I went to a spot that I've heard about 5 or 6 birds gobbling last week and I've seen a lot of sign. I set up on a clearing about 1/4 an acre in size along an old logging road. I didn't hear a thing all morning (other than a crow that sounded like it was having a seizure). Then on the way out of the woods a hen ran out about 15 yards in front of my car. I stopped and looked around to see if she had company but I couldn't find anything else. So hopefully Monday will be a better day.

Don't give up on them Hokie. With the weather today they were proably all tight lipped. Give me a holler in a week or two and we can hit the NF.
I didn't make it out today due to being sick and having to work tonight.
