My brother stopped by this afternoon about 3:30 and said he heard a turkey gobble before he came in the house.
We went back out on the carport and he took a box call and hit it a few times and one answered right back.
We sat there for about 30 minutes and heard 2, maybe 3 birds gobble 30 plus times between them.
1 gobbled only once, 1 was dead hot.
It was nice to hear gobbling again!
Maybe it's God's way of helping me get thru the off season.
I hope that I don't bore you guys with posts such as this.
As you've probably figured out by now, I'm a certified turkey nut.
