Post 2023 Hen/Poult Survey
Here on Quantico I completed the survey and ended with a hen/poult count of 2.12 the best in 5 years. I started in July and ended the last of August (same as the State) but the thing I noticed the difference in poult age. around the end of July I was seeing 7-14 day old poults and also 5-6 week old poults.

Total turkeys seen: 147
Total hens seen: 41
Total poults seen: 87
Total gobblers seen: 19
Hen/Poult ratio: 2.12
Miles driven: 84
Turkeys per mile: 2.03

Talked with AP Hill (now renamed Fort Walker) personnel and they are at one of thier best surveys also. Estimated 2.9.

Have not heard back from Dye yet on the States results.
