I have the new remington 870 turkey gun with the thumbhole stock. I want to shoot heavy shot in it, but i dont want to have to buy a-lot of different choke tubes to find out. anyone have this gun with any info. |

Bump. If anyone has patterns their thumbhole 870, I would like to know what choke tube and shotshell they are using? |

Seems to work real well. His new 870 shoot a bunch of loads very well. I think the Winchester X-tended in 3.5" is working real well also. |

I have the Remington Hevishot Chocktube in super full. It works great with 3 1/2 " #6 HS. |

just use the remington hevi shot super full tube or the regular remington XF tube with hevi shot 6s...you'll probably be just fine. try to get 10 or more pellets in a skoal can at 40 yards consistently...if you do...GO HUNT. |
