 Carry me back to Old Virginny—Founders Hunt The guy who actually started and owns VaTurkey.com invited his "co-founder " back to hunt the other day. First morning was all one could expect from a great spring turkey hunt.
A Roosted bird gobbled 150 times on the limb and then on the ground for 49.50 minutes, and then came 125 yards in 49 seconds to the gun.
A magnificent morning that brought back a lot of memories over a lot hunts of past decades together in a lot of states for multiple species.
And a fine old bird to be much admired and to share the ride home.
