...for me anyway! I've been toying with wingbones and trumpets off and on for a few years now. I actually called a bird in last year with a wingbone. I've had the honor to talk and call with a former 3 time All Around Calling Champion whose call of choice is a wingbone. With his tutoring I now have full confidence to use a bone. Oh...GN thinks I'm crazy to stray away from my tube calls but I told him I like the challenge Happy Easter and Good Luck to all!!!

The real question is HOW MANY Barry will kill with a wingbone call ...no question in my mind that they will start falling this spring. Best of luck Barry GN |

Awesome looking call. Had a friend over 50 years ago whose father made them. I never could figure them out, but he could really call in the gobblers with them. |

Beauty call. I started messing around last year making wingbone calls. Got a few of different sizes and pitches. I tagged out second week last year so went out scouting to find my nephew a bird. I went into the woods solo w just a wingbone planning on listening for gobbles and practicing some w the call. Didn’t hear any birds singing at first light so worked my way to a high point overlooking a valley. I gave a few yelps on the ole wingbone and had a Tom answer me. Well, he was pretty far off, so I just sat back and enjoyed the morning and enjoying my “success” and didn’t call again. About 45 minutes later here he comes right into 25 yds! Never gobbled again. I went w my nephew two days later wasn’t able to get the gobbler to come in again. Oh well. Playing the game. They definitely work; only bit of advice is don’t call a lot w one. Just a few soft yelps was all it took |
