Post new toy
Was able to pick up a new Stevens .410 in original bottomland at Greentop. Currently looking for places to have the barrel and receiver dipped to match. Planning on getting a Vortex Venom and shooting an Indian Creek .380 and Apex Ninja 9.5's

That looks like a 105 howitzer. What scope you putting on it? I guess going to use TSS?

Should be fun. I didn't even think they made choke tubes for such things. How much tighter can you make a .410.

Hope she works out for you.

I’m gonna put a Vortex Venom on it. I use the same sight on my 20 guage and really like it.

Are you sure a single shot will be enough? Or am I thinking of someone else? :D

Maybe you should let me check it out this fall before next spring.

Very nice looking gun. With that long barrel it should shoot really tight. I have a model 37 Winnie in .410 and it shoots a softball size group at 20 yards.

I'm thinking of getting that gun. It supposedly only weighs about 5 lbs! Nitro Ammo company is getting 223 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards with their ammo and a .390 choke. Sounds like a lightweight killing machine for run-and-gun.

Question: how much recoil does this gun have?

I haven’t shot it yet. Waiting to put a Vortex Venom red dot on it and some much warmer days!!

I think that will be a nice rig for sure. That seems to be the one .410 dedicated turkey killer made right now that has gotten positive reviews. I'm going to stick with my 870. I've been known to miss on the first shot from time to time. :)

How did you get the red dot directly on the receiver? Mina has the rail on it. I'd like to get mine setup like that, low profile

I took off the rail that came with it and installed a Sumtoy customs base.

Sumtoy base is the way to go. I've have his custom base on a Benelli Nova 20 gauge and a 870 20 gauge.
