Quote: I thought my license would expire before I got him...

Response by one of my hunting buddies to the question "how far was he?"

Quote: "SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT!

Me pleading with one of my hunting partners to shoot a longbeard before he stepped on me...the bird was in a half strut shuffle run coming straight down an old logging road while my legs were sticking out in the road right in his path. Two comment...Mossy Oak forest floor really does work well on your lower extremeities and my buddy finally shot him at about 6-7 steps with a Browning 10 ga. Have you ever seen a gobbler shot at 5 yards with a 10 guage?

Quote: I just wanted to make sure the other one was close enough so you wouldn't miss.

My friends wise guy response to "Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!" because he wanted us to double....we did. 8)

Post Re: Unforgettable quotes
Im reposting this thread form this board , from 2004 when the board was very active and Facebook was not around: It has some of the funniest quotes from turkey hunts you will ever read. Take the time to read through it again and I doubt you will regret

That curmudgeon that started that thread wishes he could go back and re-visit with those and others that have made the turkey wars so memorable over the years :-) Sure is fun to look back on all the fun had through the years, and look foreard to hopefully making a few more!
