Alabama has recently issued clarification to its hunting rules pertaining to turkey decoys. Decoys must be stationary to the ground. Cannot reap or crawl legally in Alabama with a decoy to pursue a turkey.

Personally I wish every state would adopt this rule. However, as other have pointed put elsewhere, if the thought of a load of shot in your head or body does not deter someone from crawling with a decoy, I m not sure state law would stop that person from the same strategy.

I'm not a fan (no pun intended), but to each their own. I've seen reapers pull off the road and start stalking decoys. Not cool.

Good old Alabama, last state I believe to allow decoys and now seems to be first to outlaw reaping or crawling for turkey.

Yea to each thier own but I still salute Al for thier lead.
