TWRA commission this afternoon approved lowering the TN statewide limit for 2021 spring turkey to 3 bearded birds . Failed to approve proposals for later opening dates for the whole state but did change Miss river counties date by setting it two weeks later than rest of state. Failed to adopt a proposal for "no jakes" on youth hunts. Failed to pass a proposal to remove bearded hens from the "bearded birds" allowed in the spring. Apparently the discussions in the meeting were fairly heated.

I bet heated may be a nice word.
What about the counties if any that may be able to only give up one or two where the population is low?
How could they pass later start dates for the border counties but not the others?
Jakes on youth day and bearded hens I can see being debated some, but still sounds like some may have come ill prepared or received.
