Duck blind bird
It was a suitable day for what GN calls the ''Duck Blind'' After fighting the fog, rain showers, wind and cold weather for 4 hours this bird followed a hen into our setup. I smooth missed him with the first shot but for some reason he paused to give me a 2nd chance.
21 lbs - 8 oz, fair spurs for a mountain bird plus a broom for a beard!
Hody will be posting pics for me

Re: Duck blind bird
Great bird Barry. Who in their right mind would bet against Barry and the Duck Blind on any given day.
Is it true that the bird never made a single gobble coming in? It is a weird gobble year for sure, but the combo of Barry and The Duck Blind can overcome any turkey weirdness!!

Re: Duck blind bird
Correct GN, never heard a single gobble. I know there's at least 2 more gobblers in the area as well

Congrats Barry! Is that another Doan's pill bird? I wish I could play a tube call like you. V

Beautiful pic Barry and congratulations on a fine bird. That is one awesome blind. Built by a dedicated turkey hunter.
