Was not planning on hunting today with Rain in the forecast.. but was up at Turkey time because of my internal clock. I walked out on the back porch and no rain.. decided to hit a spot close to the house for a quick hunt before work. Glad I did. Got on a hot bird and was working him off the roost. I could hear his hens with him, but they still closed the gap. Had the safety off and waiting on him to show when a bird I had no idea about blew my hat off behind me and close. Still was waiting on the bird in front to step out, bird behind gobbling like mad now wanting the hen to show herself. I couldn't take it.. managed to ease around the tree without getting busted somehow and finally saw him walking left to right.. had one opening about 40 yds and the 20 ga and Hevi Shot did the rest.

It's a Charles Daly 20 GA pump.. I love this gun.. killed many Long Beards with it.. I bought it from my Cousin so it has special meaning as well

Got mine from Tut. Bought it for my son and he has killed 7 or so with it. Shoots great. Hits hard.
