Post subject:  Howdy Strangers! A little break from softball...
Sorry I’m not around much these days. Work, coaching softball, new farm and family time just keep me on the go. I hope all of you are doing well. Good luck and have a safe season!

With a break today from softball Abby managed to get a couple hours in the woods this morning. A big boss gobbler that never made a peep finally showed with several hens and a jake about 9:00. All I do anymore is call and Abby does the rest so at 20 yards she made quick work of the deed. She, and the turkeys, are getting bigger....

Freddy, that is a big ole bird for sure. Congrats. Yes, both Abby and the Turkey's are getting bigger for sure.

Congratulations Abby, big bird. As someone stated, beautiful black wing feathers. Big thick black band on tail feathers along with buff tan tips.

Congratulations Freddy! I'm traveling back to ole'Virginia from Kodiak Island this week for the first time in 2 years! Looking forward to the smell of decaying oak tree leaves on mountain ridges and green pastures in the valleys! Good luck with Softball and the birds!
