Youth Day
My youngest learned what patience is all about this morning . Passed on a bearded hen and was rewarded with three longbeards marching in . Only two left

Re: Youth Day
Very happy young man. Congrats. Turkey nuggets soaking in buttermilk and then pan fried in cast iron skillet is pretty darn sweet.

Re: Youth Day
Nice Turkey! Congrats to both of you!
We located a nice Long Beard and some hens. But he was not in the mood for love. No strutting and would not come in to our decoys, Stayed across the field from us. He was not even interested in the hens. It was cold and windy.
Still we had a blast and can't wait to get back out.
Congrats Again, SwampFox

Re: Youth Day
Great pictures and congrats to your son. Was really windy for us on Saturday but was able to call one into 60 yards but he would not close the distance. My daughter got to see him strut and gobble for half hour before he finally walked away gobbling. We both walked out of the woods with smiles on our faces.
