Took my 14 year old with me on his first Turkey Trip ..I don't count WV :)
Had a blast.. was on birds most everyday despite bad weather..we killed 4 birds all told.. and should have been a couple more.. but you know how that goes.. I ended up missing one at 8 yds..
Luke got his within the first hour of the season it was a Double Beard.. here is some video

Randy, that is an awesome way to start the season. Especially Luke's bird. Congratulations to all.

Congratulations! That is awesome. Hope you do well in both Virginia and West Virginia! Myself - I'm not thrilled WV went to an earlier start, it was nice being able to hunt WV a couple weeks after VA.

Yea.. me too man.. starts way too early in the Mountains now.. they should split the season and have the Ohio River valley start early and the eastern part of the state in the Mountains start the 3rd week in April and stay in a week later..
