Post Mouth Calls
I put a note in the turkey forum earlier about the Pure Turkey calls. I guess Freddy is out of the business? Just wanted to buy a couple for the season. Oh well.

Anyone have a suggestion on another source of calls that are similar to the ones Freddy made? I really like the Yelper, Curtain Call, and Last call.

Appreciate the help.
Vic

Vic I have used Mountain Side Game calls for years but I switched to the Zink Diaphragm calls last year. they are flexible and you don't have to chew on them for weeks to loosen them up. They are a little salty when it comes to pricing but easy to use. I use the yellow and red great sounding calls. I hope this helps

Vic, I am using primos. Since wearing dentures my mouth calling has been a little off. But Primos seems to work the best for my situation. They are somewhat soft and pliable. I can get all the calls out of them.

But as BB said Zinck makes a good call and I have heard folks run them, they sound great.

Thanks for the responses. I will look into them. I bought an HS Strutt call a while back and it was in a plastic frame. I hated it and it broke pretty quick.

Are the calls mentioned here pretty well made? I use to get a couple of three years out of Freddy's calls. They held up great.

Thanks again

Guys no more calls on the site...SORRY.
If you want some calls please visit our friends at TOP Calls. Their calls are similar and they are good folks.

I really like the Zink diaphragm calls. Mine are a year or two old with Yellow frame. They came in a double pack at Dicks Sporting Goods.
Pretty sure they are the Screamin' Lady and the Raspy Sister calls.
Freddy's calls were very good, but these fit my mouth better.

To each their own....
