Post Mountain gobbler
Finally took my 2nd ever Fall gobbler back in Jan. Had a flock of about 20 birds down in the bottom & was able to bust them up enough that they didn't all go the same direction. Only had to sit for 20 min. before 3 longbeards & 2 hens came back. Heard birds calling all around though. Are these light tipped feathers normal for an Eastern? All the Rios I've killed have lighter tips but all the Easterns I've killed have brown tips...

Congratulations on a great fall/winter gobbler. Calling them back in that fast is well done, very impressive.

I have seen tips like that before on eastern's. Being normal maybe, but eastern's have been known to have a chestnut-brown tip on thier tails.
