Post vest or no vest......
I'm bored... ready for deer season and think about spring turkey season.... soo... who on here hunts with a turkey vest.... and who hunts with out a vest. ....

Debating this year, dropping the vest and going lighter! If I use decoys then carry a mesh type bag if I want! Depending on what calls I prefer during the hunts, I'll just carry a handful if them rather than ALL of them!

What's your preference?

Always have my vest, even during preseason scouting. I feel lost without it now. We have been through a lot together. :D

In have a love-hate relationship with my vest. Tut switched to a backpack and really loved it. I may try the same next season.

Vest. I usually have to walk too far and am apt to spend the whole day in the woods, so I have to plan on carrying stuff that may be needed.

Vest for me, all the game bag is now is a really big pocket for decoys, water bottles, turkey wing, thermacell, cushion, etc. Anything that doesn't fit in the front pockets goes there.

been using a small camoflague pack for maybe a dozen years +-. a lot easier to get my calls out when the pack is laying by my knee than trying to get them out of a vest where they were over-secured to keep from losing them in walking etc. I use some homemade camp coveralls with some center -chest pockets that hold locator calls, mouth calls, that are easily accessible on the move.

I use a turkey vest. I don't carry nearly as much as I used to in it though. Still a great way to carry your equipment, seat, TP, etc.

Vest, Decoy Bag, Seat, Shotgun, I look like a pack mule going in the woods!

I love my vest, If you arrange everything accordingly it makes it easier plus if you kill a bird deep in the Mountains it's whole lot easier to throw the Bird in the vest and carry the decoys.
