Not to break your focus, I know that the turkey season isn't quite finished yet. But, what are everyone’s deer hunting plans for the fall? We did very well in the Landowner drawing here in Montana, 10 of 13 applicants drew tags. 3 of the guys are from your neck of the woods (DC area). Our ranch deer population is exclusively Mule Deer, although there are some great Whitetail areas within 10 minutes or so. I'd love to see everyone's mounts, maybe you could email me photos so as not to take up too much of the board's space with deer hunting. Thanks, | ||

Tom make sure that when the Elk come you let me know, I want to be in the first group to Elk hunt on your place. Next time we are gonna chase a few of those prarie dogs too. What is the updated score birds to hunters? | ||

Thanks Tom.  Too bad we did not take another we could have made it 100% for VA. Oh well, they left some good ones for next year for sure. That Jake I passed at Ralph's we named TJ will be a dandy bird next year. Plus the several other longbeards we saw. | ||

tom do can you still get tags fo whitetail deer. i never been on a guided hunt before . my friend said airfare is cheap right now. maybe you could send me some info. if can still get tags . `i havent taken a nice one with my bow yet. thanks john email :lou420@aol.com | ||

John ~ I'll send you the info. but the non-resident drawing for antlered deer was held April 15th (March 15 deadline). There is still a possibility of getting a "B" tag (anterless), but my guess it that you wouldn't be interested in that. | ||
