I've searched the archives looking for guys that may be using a Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag. I would like to start using Hevi Shot but can't seem to find a choke tube that will work with my gun & steel shot? Any Suggestions on where to look or what brand?

I have a Star Dot choke that will work with Heavy Shot, and one of another manufacturer whose name escapes me at the moment. They are out there. I got the star dot at WalMart. Undertaker is the one I couldn't think of. Keep looking. If you want to e-mail me, I could give you some numbers and opening sizes off of them.

I have used the Primos in a Benelli and was very happy with it. I also use a Star Dot in my Mossberg and again am very happy with that one.

I use the Mossberg full choke with Hevi-Shot (3 1/2", #5s). For some reason you can use their full choke but not the ulti-full with the Hevi-Shot. |
