hey chuck i was wondering when we were going to hear from you again. after looking at your deer cam pics. in a earlier post been checking to see when we would hear of you harvesting a big buck.as a matter of fact freddie and several other posters on here have been quite lately. | ||

Chuck scare him over to my lease. HA HA Yesterday was a good day especially the eve but I only saw a few deer all day. More sign around but no deer. Not sure what is going on. | ||

hody,sorry to say he's on his way.ive hunted this deer hard all week,maybe too hard,i had him at 20yrds last night just before dark and couldnt close the deal,i pulled every trick out could,code blue-doe estrus,golden estrus,tinks-69,tarsle glands,a drag rag with code blue drug to my stand,grunted all afternoon,i turned "the can" upsidedown so many times my wrist hurts,i rattled like a fool,i will say this i like the new primos rubber-neck grunt tube,i wore it out this week,i took it apart and moved the rubber band up and down the tube so much it now sounds like a goose call,think they will send me a new one?all that just to have him come in directly behind me.when i eased around the tree to see what it was he bolted out of there like his rear end was on fire,i didnt even get my gun all the way to my shoulder before he was just a memory.the only sign that he was there were leaves still floating in the air after he shot through the woods like a rocket.oh well,they dont get big buy being stupid,the sad thing is dog season starts saturday and some fool that hasnt even been up to the club,hasnt even looked into the woods yet will kill him on a dog drive,anyway i got a doctor appointment this morning maybe i can get back up this afternoon and give him one more try. | ||

oh here one more pic of that son of.....i mean fine specimen of a white tail deer. oh a side note,every nanny ive seen has had little ones with her,what gives the rut should be in full swing,and they shouldnt have little ones with them.ive only seen a few nannys alone with no young-ens. one came through the woods wednesday bleatin her head off,never heard that in real life before  | ||

Chuck that is always the thing a guy who shows up and has not done any scouting will kill a big one for sure. It aggravates me that they have spent no time in the woods have not helped plant or anything. Sometimes the deer gods are cruel. Good luck with him, he is a nice one. |
