Friday night I had to run up to the store for some milk. As I came up to a field (that will soon be a Farm Fresh)  It was about nine o'clock and I caught a glimpes on a deer . I slow down and under the street light was a nice 6 pointer standing there. He just looed at me and trotted off about 50 yrds and I moved on. As I came back by on my way home I slowed down to see if I could see him again.As I got closer to where I had seen the buck there was a Doe standing there as I stopped the buck popped his head up not two feet behind her. She run across the field as far as I could see her and horny boy was on her the while way. Nose down wanting some. They were not 10 feet from the road. This is a pretty busy road. I was surprised to see them that close. They usally stay towards the back of the field. But I as I said earlier , the property was sold to the Farm Fresh people and it will be gone soon. | ||

Econo, I had to laugh when I saw the ole boy trying to show off for her. Reminded me of how me and my High School buddy's would act when ever a good lQQking girl would come around. We didn't care how we acted either.  All we wanted to do was show off and act like a bunch of fools. I have for the mountains on Thursday morning, I hope I can find one acting like a fool up there. Well I certainly wish I were hunting this am. On the way to work saw a few bucks out one was jogging across a field covered in frost with his nose to the ground, never lifting it. I will be out there tomorrow hoping to see the same thing where I am hunting. It should be good hunting for the next several days...GOOD LUCK!!! | ||

hody,you need to hit the woods,the bucks are going full speed right now,me and my son listen to fight yesterday eavening that sounded great,they sounded like they were tearing the woods apart,gruntin.bangin horns and the works,sounded awsome.its a real treat to hear somthing like that.i had to bring my son back for school and am headed back up in a few minutes,congrats to all that have scored and hopefully i will this afternoon or at least before the end of the week. |
